Greetings,

Our upcoming Sunday group practice session will be offered from 10:00 to 11:15am Central Time. This session is the sixth in our six-week Fall Intensive: The Disruptive Point of Zazen. Paid subscribers are welcome to join us for this practice session.

Following a brief period of zazen, Tetsugan Sensei and Dosho Roshi will offer a dharma talk about the practice of zazen as taught by Dogen Zenji in The Disruptive Point of Zazen (aka, Zazenshin). Zazenshin is enormously important for understanding and practicing zazen.

The portion of the text that we'll focus on this Sunday is inserted at the end of this message. This week, the Disruptive Point of Zazen reaches a thundering crescendo with this:

Taking up the fact that the virtues of a Buddha definitely include killing Buddha, we should also study whether we are killers or not yet killers.

The next Sunday practice session
